Christina Aguilera (album)

Christina Aguilera is the self-titled debut album of pop singer Christina Aguilera. Genre Album Pop. It was released on August 24, 1999 (see 1999 in music) in the U.S. by label RCA, and included Aguilera's breakthrough hit single "Genie in a Bottle", as well as the later singles "What a Girl Wants", "I Turn to You", and "Come on over Baby (All I Want Is You)". It also featured the song she recorded a year earlier for the Mulan soundtrack, "Reflection". Mi Reflejo

Mi Reflejo is the first Spanish-language album by American pop singer Christina Aguilera with genre Latin pop, released in September 12, 2000 (see 2000 in music) by label RCA Records. The album includes Spanish versions of five songs from her debut album Christina Aguilera, as well as six new songs. Aguilera was only semi-fluent in Spanish at the time of recording the album. The album hints that the accent that Aguilera uses is Rioplatense[citation needed]. The yeísmo, where both the y and ll sounds are the same, are  pronounced as [J](realized as a "sh" sound in English). Songs from the album earned her two Latin Grammy Award nominations, one for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for "Genio Atrapado" in 2000 and she was nominated for Record of the Year for "Pero Me Acuerdo De T?in 2001. The album earned her a Grammy Award nomination for Best Latin Pop Album and a win at the Latin Grammy Awards for Best Female Pop Vocal Album in 2001. The album has gone Gold/3x Platino in the U.S and has sold over 2.1 million copies worldwide.

Stripped (Christina Aguilera album)

Stripped Stripped is the second English studio album after her self-titled record Christina Aguilera by American pop singer Christina Aguilera with genre Pop, rock, R&B, soul, released in 2002 by label RCA. It reached the top five of the album charts in both the United States and United Kingdom and features two UK number-one hits in "Dirrty" and "Beautiful". Although perceived by many to be an album focusing on raunchy themes, it appears to be so only on a superficial level and is thought to have acquired the negative label through the leading single "Dirrty" and its raunchy video (upon closer inspection the song is actually about sexual liberation) as well as Christina's style of dress at the time. Christina supported the album with the Justified and Stripped and Stripped World Tours.
